Fishing · Brad Laabs Fishing Report - June 10, 2010

Walleye's are moving off the flats and to edges of the breaks and close to
shoreline break mid-lake structure. The long extending points into main lake
areas are holding fish. Leech and crawlers are in full play. Rigs with a
4-5ft leader fished in 13-18ft seem to turn the trick. Jigs with small
suckers/leech or half a crawler are taking fish. There are still some
walleyes in the cabbage weed and slip bobber and leech are a great way to
extract these fish from their hiding spot.

Some Bass are still on beds, and some have moved off to outside weed edges. Northern Pike seem to be everywhere. Pitching cranks and spinners will take both Pike and Bass.

Best Muskie lakes are Pelican and DL. For Bass check Long, Floyd, Cotton, and DL.

Walleyes are on and off on almost all area lakes, but consistent action has
been on Island, Pelican, White Earth, Otter Tail.

Otter Tail, Big Pine and
DL have tournaments on them this weekend so check out some other waters like Toad, Sallie, Cormorant that have all been good producers in the past..
