The Great Polar Race:  a.m. - 1 p.m. start at Washingon Square Mall, $10 per person or $35 for a team of four, (2-4 per team).
Register by January 30 at the DLCCC, 826 Summit Ave. Prizes will be awarded.

Doubles Racquetball Tournament: 8 a.m. in the DLCCC racquetball courts. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
Tuesday, February 9 The Legend of Polar Pete: 7 p.m. Stories of 1,000 words or less on "The Legend of Polar Pete" must be submitted by February 4. Prizes will be awarded at a special Polar Fest Celebration at 7 p.m. Listen to the best stories and see who winds the cash prizes. Enjoy cider and cookies.
