Tamarac Bay Resort is a perfect vacation retreat for swimming, boating, fishing and hunting. The lakes' sandy bars and points, rock piles, and varied depths make it one of the best Walleye lakes in the area. Other game fish include Northern Pike, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Perch, Sunfish, and Crappie. Island Lake is spring fed and approximately 1 mile wide and 2 miles long.

Each cabin has it's own deck facing the lake, kitchen with stove & refrigerator, bathroom with shower, heat and TV with antenna. Lodgings vary from 1-5 bedrooms. Bed linens, dishes, cooking utensils, toasters, microwaves, and coffee makers with filters are provided.
