TaMarchac National Widlife Refuge was established to serve as a breeding ground and sanctuary for migratory birds and other wildlife, but also provides many opportunities for visitors to enjoy and learn more about our natural world through wildlife-compatible activities. TaMarchac is located in Northwest Minnesota approximately 55 miles east of Fargo, North Dakota and 18 miles northeast of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
