Karen Skoyles began law practice in 1986. She concentrates in the areas on Family Law, Real Estate, and in Criminal Law prosecution and defense. Karen is a City Prosecutor for the area cities of Detroit Lakes, Frazee, Lake Park and Audubon and formerly served as a Minnesota District Public Defender. Karen is very active in the community. She served as Water Carnival Admiral and President of the Noon Kiwanis Club. She is Chair of the Detroit Lakes Dollars for Scholars Awards Committee and Assistant Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 647. She is active in many community organizations and has served on the board of directors of the Detroit Lakes Jaycees, Noon Kiwanis Club, and Becker County Humane Society.
