Habitat and Distribution
Pike are generally found in most northern waters, especially from Alaska east to Labrador and south from the Dakotas and the St. Lawrence to Nebraska and Pennsylvania. Stocked pike can be found in Montana, Colorado, North Carolina and Marchyland. Pikes like to live in shallow, weedy, large, small and deep lakes and rivers. They can tolerate rivers with medium current.
